How to get to and from a historic running experience

Your journey in running shoes with 40,000 other participants will be a day to remember.

We’ve gathered the maps and information you need to get to and from The Bridge Run celebrations in the way that suits you best.

Please select below if you’re traveling to the start from Sweden or Denmark, or how to get home from the finish area in Sibbarp.

The bus transport to the start in Tårnby or from the finish and home to Denmark is included in the price of The Bridge Run.

When you registered, you chose whether you needed transport either to the start or back to the start after the race.

Your race bib is only a valid ticket for the buses or trains provided by the The Bridge Run and not for other public transportation in continuation of your journey to or from The Bridge Run.

As around 25,000 Swedes will be crossing the Øresund Bridge in the morning to be in their starting group for Bridge Run 2025, we recommend coming to Denmark in the days leading up to the race instead of waiting until Sunday morning. This will ensure the best prelude to the race experience.

Bus transport to the start in Tårnby or from the finish and back to Denmark on race day, 15 June 2025, is included in the Bridge Run 2025 participation fee. When you registered, you chose whether you needed transport either to the start or back to the start after the race.

Buses will be organised from Hyllie Station outside Malmö to the start area in Denmark in the morning. Participants who have chosen transport to Denmark before the race will receive information about their departure time closer to the race.
Similarly, there will be buses transporting runners back from the finish area in Sibbarp to Tårnby as they cross the finish line.

Buses will also run from the finish area in Sibbarp to Hyllie Station, from where participants have the option of travelling by train to other destinations in Sweden or back to Denmark.
