How to get back after the race
This guide provides maps and information on how to return to Denmark from the finish area in Sibbarp after you have received your medal.
Once you have collected your bag in Sibbarp and are ready to leave the finish area, buses will be available to take you back to the start area in Tårnby. Alternatively, you can choose a bus to Hyllie Station, where you can catch a train back to Denmark.
Please refer to the maps below for an overview of the area and the bus locations. There will be clear signage and volunteers available to assist you in the finish area.
Travelling to Another City in Sweden?
If you plan to travel to another city in Sweden after the race, you can also take one of the buses to Hyllie Station and continue your journey by train from there.
Where the buses depart after the race
If you’re heading back to Denmark, shuttle buses run from the finish area in Sibbarp directly to Kastrup (see arrival map below) between 13:00 – 16:00.
Between 11:30 and 18:30 there are buses to Hyllie Station, from where you can take a train to Denmark or the rest of Sweden.
All roads in the finish area are closed to cars. It is therefore NOT possible to drive to, pick up or park in the finish area by car.
How you arrive by bus in Denmark
From the finish area in Sibbarp, there is a bus service available to take you back to Denmark, provided you have selected this mode of transport before the race. The bus will drop you off near Kastrup metro station.
From Kastrup, you can either continue your journey by metro or access the bike parking if you rode your bike to the event.
Additionally, there are trains available from Hyllie Station, which is located just outside Malmö. For more information about traffic status, please refer to the Skånetrafiken provider below.
How to arrive by train in Denmark
If you choose to travel home by train from Hyllie Station, you will arrive at Copenhagen Airport train station. From there, you have access to both trains and the metro to continue your journey.
You can also take the metro to Femøren Station or walk back to the starting area if you need to pick up a parked bike.
Buses will be shuttling between the finish area in Sibbarp and Hyllie Station, located outside Malmö. The buses will operate as they fill up with participants.
From Hyllie, you can continue your journey by bus or train to Tårnby.
Please be prepared for queues at the buses, especially when most participants are heading back to Denmark.
Where to pick up your race bag after the race
After crossing the finish line and receiving your medal, look for signs directing you to collect your race bag, provided you handed it in before the start at Øresundsparken.
Refer to the map of the finish area to locate the buses that will take you back to Denmark and Hyllie Station post-race. The map also indicates where you can pick up your luggage, find restrooms, enjoy entertainment, access catering, and more.

Find the right start group and provide a better running experience for yourself and your fellow runners. You will receive information about your start group and start time well in advance of the race.
