This is how you get to the start from Denmark
This guide provides maps and information to help you reach the race and return to Denmark safely.
We recommend that participants use bicycles or public transport for the best access to the start area and baggage drop-off.
Below, you will find details on how to arrive by bike, metro, from the airport, or by car drop-off.
The Femøren metro station is within walking distance of the start area. Additionally, it is possible to walk to the start from the metro stations at the airport or in Kastrup.
Be prepared for queues and waiting time.

I will arrive by bike
We’re happy if you arrive by bike. It can make it easier for you to get to the start and back home again when you return from Sweden by bus.
We have reserved space for bicycle parking, so you’ll have easy access on foot to both baggage reclaim and your start group in the finish area.

I arrive by metro
The Femøren metro station is within walking distance from the start area. It will also be possible to walk to the start from the metro stations at the airport or in Kastrup.
Extra metro trains will be deployed on race day, but extra congestion and waiting time must be expected for both participants in the race and travellers to the airport from both Sweden and Denmark.

Where you drop off your bag before the race
When you collect your race bib, you will also receive a race bag. You can hand it in before the race at the marked drop-off points.
The bag with your extra clothes or personal belongings will then be transported to the finish area in Sibbarp, Sweden, where you can pick it up again.
To ensure that you get your checked bag at the finish area in Sibbarp, please do yourself a favor and follow the guidelines below.
Important information about baggage check-in
1. Drop off on time
There may be a wait at the bag drop, so be on time.
There may be some waiting time at baggage check-in, so arrive well before the bag drop deadline.
See the latest drop-off times for each start group in the image above.
Closer to the race, you will receive information about when you need to be in place in your start group.
If you arrive together as a group, it is important that you plan your arrival according to the person in the group who will start earliest.
The cars will drive the bags to Sweden in line with the start of the race for each start group.
Attempts will be made to collect late luggage. However, the organisers cannot guarantee that late luggage will reach the finish area before the end of the race and the last runner has crossed the finish line.
2. Find the right car
Luggage drop-off is located at cars parked along Bøjlevej in the start area (refer to the map and timetable). Each car is clearly marked with the color and letter of your start group.
Within each color group, you will also find signs indicating number intervals. It is important to hand in your bag at the car that corresponds to your start number’s interval.
Your start group and color will be printed in the bottom right corner of your bib number.
3. Remember the bag tag
Before you hand in your bag, make sure that your race bag tag with your race number printed on it is attached to the top turquoise handle on your race bag.
The procedure is shown and described on the back of your race number, and your bag tag is handed out together with your race number.
Without a correctly placed bag tag, we cannot hand over the bag to the correct owner in the finish area.
Are you traveling from Sweden before race day?
If you are staying overnight in Copenhagen before the race – and therefore have extra luggage from Sweden – it is possible to drop off an extra bag or suitcase in carry-on size (approx. 55 x 40 x 23 cm).
This bag can also be dropped off in the same area where you drop off your race bag. You will find the carry on trucks opposite the baggage trucks that match your start group. See the luggage transport map for exact location.
