Løb med over Øresundsbroen
Find the right starting group and provide a better running experience for yourself and your fellow runners

Start & pacer groups

To ensure that all runners have a good and smooth start to the race, you will be divided into different starting groups.

These groups are based on the expected finish time you provided during registration. It is important to set a realistic expected finish time.

Matching your pace with others in your starting group can help you avoid a negative experience during the race.

And remember: Bring your best running mood! Let’s spread positive energy to each other as we run.

Be aware of the time limit

The Øresund Bridge serves as a crucial transportation link between Denmark and Sweden.

To ensure the bridge can be reopened promptly, all participants must complete the race within a three-hour time limit.

Racers who do not appear to be on track to meet this time limit will be removed from the race.

The first time checkpoint is located at the first hydration station before the tunnel, where runners have 27 minutes to complete the first 3.2 kilometers.

Please remember your bib number.

Make sure to display your bib number prominently on your stomach or chest. It is crucial not to place it on your lower body or back, as improper placement can lead to inaccurate time recording.

Additionally, avoid bending or creasing the bib number, as this can damage the embedded chip.

Follow the balloons

On race day, our pacer teams will assist you. These teams consist of experienced runners who will maintain a steady pace from start to finish, guide you safely along the course, and ensure you cross the finish line at your desired time.

In the table above, you can see which pace teams will be in your starting group.

To find your pace team on race day, look for the balloons in the same color as your starting group, along with the time you expect to finish the race. The pacer teams will be located in the start street within their respective starting groups, and their finish times will be displayed on the balloons.
