Start

#BooztYourRun

The Bridge Run offers a unique chance to traverse a tunnel, a bridge, and a national border along a rare course. This experience is defined by the thrill of anticipation, an energy boost, and the camaraderie shared with 40,000 fellow runners at both the start and finish lines.

At the start line, you will have the opportunity to drop off your luggage comfortably on time, charge with some music and food, and join your designated start group on time.

If you or your supporters need an extra boost of energy before the race, Joe & the Juice, 7-Eleven, Frankie’s Coffee, and The Little Coffee Break will have vending carts in the area, offering delicious coffee, croissants, snacks, and other treats to help fuel you for the course.

Waste containers are ready for you in the start if you wish to drop extra warm-up clothes before the race.

At the finish line in Sibbarp, you can relax on the grass and take in the beach views of the sea and the bridge, enjoying the atmosphere alongside spectators. Immediately after crossing the finish line, you will be provided with water, High5 energy drinks, and High5 energy bars. After that, feel free to explore the food area, purchase drinks, and even sample the official Bridge Run beer from Hyllie Bryggeri.

Bagage til Broløbet 2025

Where you drop off your bag before the race

When you collect your race bib, you will also receive a race bag. You can hand it in before the race at the marked drop-off points.

The bag with your extra clothes or personal belongings will then be transported to the finish area in Sibbarp, Sweden, where you can pick it up again.

To ensure that you get your checked bag at the finish area in Sibbarp, please do yourself a favor and follow the guidelines below.

Important information about baggage check-in

1. Drop off on time

There may be a wait at the bag drop, so be on time.

There may be some waiting time at baggage check-in, so arrive well before the bag drop deadline.

See the latest drop-off times for each start group in the image above.

If you arrive together as a group, it is important that you plan your arrival according to the person in the group who will start earliest.

The cars will drive the bags to Sweden in line with the start of the race for each start group.

Attempts will be made to collect late luggage. However, the organisers cannot guarantee that late luggage will reach the finish area before the end of the race and the last runner has crossed the finish line.

2. Find the right car

Luggage drop-off is located at cars parked along Bøjlevej in the start area (refer to the map and timetable). Each car is clearly marked with the color and letter of your start group.

Within each color group, you will also find signs indicating number intervals. It is important to hand in your bag at the car that corresponds to your start number’s interval.

Your start group and color will be printed in the bottom right corner of your bib number.

3. Remember the bag tag

Before you hand in your bag, make sure that your race bag tag with your race number printed on it is attached to the top turquoise handle on your race bag.

The procedure is shown and described on the back of your race number, and your bag tag is handed out together with your race number.

Without a correctly placed bag tag, we cannot hand over the bag to the correct owner in the finish area.

Start and Pacer Groups

Would you like to run with others at a steady pace that suits you? Then you can join one of our many pace groups. They are led by highly experienced runners who are accustomed to maintaining a consistent and steady pace.

You don’t have to follow a pace group if you prefer to run at your own pace. However, before the start, it’s important to position yourself in the group that has a roughly similar pace to what you intend to run, as it creates the best flow in the organization of the race.
