Online department store Boozt emphasises its roots in the Øresund region and its dedication to supporting health through movement by becoming the main sponsor of The Bridge Run 2025. This means a quality boost in the experience for the 40,000 participants.
Boozt strengthens the framework for The Bridge Run 2025 as main sponsor. The online department store thereby contributes actively to the celebration of a well-integrated Øresund region in connection with the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Øresund Bridge.
“For Boozt, it is only natural to become the main sponsor of The Bridge Run 2025. Boozt’s success and prosperity is based in the Øresund region, and this is where the majority of our more than 1,000 talented employees have their lives and daily work. The Øresund Bridge is a symbol of unity and this race is a great opportunity to connect tens of thousands of runners across the Øresund and take part in sports communities,” says CEO and Co-Founder of Boozt, Hermann Haraldsson.
Experience in ensuring a great attendee experience
Boozt has a tradition of actively contributing to strengthening the regional community across borders. But as one of the leading online department stores in the Nordic region with the biggest brands in equipment and clothing for an active lifestyle, Boozt is already a well-known major sponsor of major sports events in both Denmark and Sweden.
“As a long-standing partner and major sponsor of a number of the biggest races – including the largest half marathon in Sweden and Denmark’s largest running event – we have extensive experience of how Boozt can help create the best possible experience for all participants,” says Hermann Haraldsson.
Boozt’s contribution to adding new layers to the participants’ experience is what excites the organisers from Malmö Allmannä Idrottsförening (MAI) and Sparta Athletics & Running.
“This enables us to offer participants an unforgettable day travelling under and across Øresund. Boozt not only shares DNA with what the race represents by being a company that connects the region itself. But it also applies to their ongoing dedication to and understanding of sport and all the social values that can be reaped by strengthening the joy of movement that the popularity of the race also represents,” says Dorte Vibjerg, CEO of Sparta Athletics & Running.
Club Director of MAI Peter Karlsson emphasises the importance of good partners:
“It always feels extra good when we find committed partners who share the same values as us as organisers. Boozt contributes to three important pillars of the Bridge Race: Social responsibility, experience and community in the region. We look forward to giving the runners a great experience that inspires continued exercise and health.”
Support for training and for your back
The partnership with Boozt means that the level of entertainment before and on race day will be stepped up. Participants will be helped in their preparations before the race with training programmes and receive a race bag of high quality design and durability with the expectation that participants will use it for many years to come. A certified supplier has been chosen that fulfils high standards of responsibility in the production of the racebag. Boozt will also be raising the bar in terms of the merchandise offered.
In February, The Bridge Run 2025 sold out in a matter of hours, with around 100,000 Swedish, Danish and international runners trying to get their hands on some of the 40,000 start numbers for a rare opportunity to cross the border between Denmark and Sweden in running shoes.
